Sketching & Painting Weekend - Kraków

Saturday 13 - Sunday 14th September 2025

I’m taking to the streets of Krakiw with this special observational painting and sketching workshop, hosted over two days: Saturday and Sunday. We’ll be on-foot throughout the city using watercolor and ink to recreate many of the sites. The focus of this workshop is painting and sketching what we see so the workshop will be outside and on-location

What you’ll learn:

• Basics of urban sketching & scene composition
• Essential quick & easy watercolor and painting techniques
• Expressive drawing and rendering in ink 
• How to modify and adapt scenes for extra effect

What’s included:

•  2 days of sketching and painting instruction (from me!)
• Live, real-time demonstrations of me sketching & painting various scenes
• Feedback on your work and process
• My special tips, tricks and techniques
• Please not, this workshop will be conducted in English.

Who is it for?

• I recommend you have some basic experience and understanding of sketching and painting before taking this course. Absolute beginners are welcome to attend, however those with some prior practice or experience with painting will get more from the class.

What to bring:

• Materials: I will provide a full list of recommendation materials to attendees after the ticket is purchased
• A pop up chair: Not essential, but we’ll be in a variety of locations so having one can be useful. 

Times

• We’ll be starting and finishing in the old town . The exact meeting location will be provided in the confirmation email of your ticket.
• The workshop will take place between 10am -5pm each day with an approximately one hour break for lunch in the middle. 
  

Spaces

• I'm limiting the number of spaces with these workshops to 10 people. I really want to keep the group small and focussed.

Cancellations and refunds

• If you cancel more than 30 days before the event you will be eligible for a full refund. If you cancel 15 days or more before the event then you will be eligible for a 50% refund. Any cancellations made less than 15 days before the event will not be eligible for any refund, however you may be able to reschedule to a different date or location.
